I Had My First Gig On Fiverr
And I’m Motivated And Excited To Write More Children’s Stories
A couple of months ago I found myself giving Fiverr a try.
I already had an account there — apparently I was a member since 2019. I could not remember that at all.
There I found myself, in a rare moment of enough self-confidence to put myself out there.
I created two gigs — one providing proofreading and editing services and another one writing a short children’s story in English or German.
I didn’t expect much to happen from it.
Proofreading and editing content seemed to be an oversaturated market and without any reviews, ratings or orders yet, I assumed I would have to be proactive and advertise my gigs outside of Fiverr.
I’m not good at self-marketing and can’t be bothered to spend much time on it, so I didn’t do it.
I forgot about Fiverr and just lived my normal life.
Until last week, when I received an email from Fiverr saying: “Great News. You received an order.”
OMG. Somebody had bought one of my gigs.
A short children’s story in a dialogue format that could be used for Playmobil stories on Youtube.
